There are some things you can only dream of. Moving away to a sunny place, winning the lottery or meeting people that inspire you the most. Yesterday morning, I suddenly heard I was going to meet one of the people I would have never thought to get this close to. No one less amazing than the forever gorgeous Dita von Teese.
I’ve had stomach aches through the entire day, was nervous as hell and even almost fainted at home without even having seen her yet. In the evening, it was finally time to put on a pretty dress, black heels and red lipstick, and off I was to the Dita von Teese & Cointreau Cocktail Party.
Dita was so tiny, but looked gorgeous in her purple dress. I guess no one can wear purple like Dita does. In the wonderful and small theater at the Herengracht in Amsterdam we drank the most delicious Cointreau cocktails, chatted through the entire evening and enjoyed being in the same room with this gorgeous woman. It was strictly forbidden to take any pictures, but I managed to sneakily take some! A night I will never forget!
