Felt like dressing up like a proper lady from the fifties, so finally made the decision to finally wear this red lace original fifties dress I got a while ago at a local second-hand store called Karma Karma. And finally found the jacket I wanted for such a long time, thanks to the lovely Faranak. I did my hair really well before I went out, but these shots were taken at the end of the day and as you can see it’s been raining…
Went to the center to look for some glasses I’m hunting for since a couple of months, and finally found them in a little vintage/antique frames-store in the Jordaan (cosiest neigborhood of Amsterdam). As you can see the glasses in it are just samples, so I still need to put proper glasses in them to suit my eyes. But these are exactly the ones I was looking for so I’m happy! Excuse me about the quality of the pictures, both of the lenses of my SLR are broken…
A big thank you to Sarah of LuShae Jewelry, who sent me this lovely ring! It makes me think of the diamond necklace of Titanic a lot, with the nice big sapphire stone and the little diamonds all over it. Definitely a statement piece. Don’t forget to check out the promise rings if you want to give you’re boyfriend a little hint. Again excuse me for not being able to take better shots of it! Will try to when my lenses are fixed.

I am in love with what you’ve done with your hair. Trying so hard to perfect my braiding…Not great!
I’m not really good at it either, going to try to be a model for a braiding course so I can learn for free! Haha. But this is actually pretty easy to do, just have to make a braid on the side (start a bit loose) and then fasten it in a circle with small pins.
