First Camie and I checked in at hotel Julien, housed in two sixteenth-century buildings in the old center of Antwerp… Neutral and clean tones, and pure luxury having only eleven rooms in total. The rooms itself were as high as they were wide, in the most positive way of these words. Then off to some of the usual visits: vintage at Jutka&Riska and Episode, Labels Inc. for previously loved recent designer clothing (where I found the pink beauty which you can vaguely see somewhere down). And a stop for rings at Wouters&Hendrix.
After hitting the stores we picked up a cheap but very good sandwich and raspberry juice down the streets, changed outfits and listened to Bowie at our hotel, and took a cab to Dôme and Dôme sur Mer for fours hours of dining. Especially selected by the chef, our dinner consisted of four times fish / frutti di mare, followed by another four desserts (divided at both restaurants). Every dish came with it’s own perfectly balanced wine. Amongst others: little purple cuttlefish I wanted to use as pendants, soft unfiltered white wine, and deliciously crazy chocolat pie.
Oh, by the way: two days out of the Netherlands and our government has collapsed. Yes. New elections.

Misschien moet ik ook maar ‘es vaker eropuit gaan. Ben al een tijdje niet meer in België geweest, maar mijn volgende bestemming wordt óf Parijs óf New York City.
@sophiemei: Thank you! The bag’s from Camie, it’s a vintage one.
@Enzo: Hi my dear Enzo! Yes, it was just amazing! Of course I have more pics to come… Found great stuff at Hospital, and as mentioned above the hotel and restaurant were unbelievable as well…

@Jean Daniel Jacques: Zijn ook mijn volgende bestemmingen! Dacht er zelfs aan om vandaag gewoon even naar Parijs te vertrekken…
