Vintage hunting, part two

Whoever’s been following me since day one must be aware of the love for vintage I’ve had for over fifteen years already. It’s always been a massive part of my life, satisfying my cravings for finding unique vintage dresses from the fifties up to eighties and decorative objects for the home. Although my clothing style and taste have changed a lot since my teenage years, the hunt for vintage stayed.

For the last seven or eight years, interior hunting became more important than fashion, and it’s been so good expanding my knowledge on designer pieces too. Still, there will always be a craving for finding absolute steals in thrift shops and online. The pieces in this photo are a great example, from the vintage mushroom lamp up to the chair and desk. All acquired for the price of a pizza each, somewhere between 2009 – 2021.

Of course, not everything can be found dirt cheap and I’ll happily splurge on pieces that are worth it, like my beloved Pipistrello. But it’s been fun to keep it at balance. My love for vintage interior pieces has however gotten so big that my home currently stocks pieces that are in desperate need of a new loving home, which will soon be available online. Very excited to share this passion with you all and to help you explore your own décor styles through a personal selection.
