Burberry Prorsum buckle wedges, $1095 – Alexander Wang silver loafer pumps, $650

Even though these shoes are their complete opposite, I do love them both to death. I would just wish I could wear a classic pump like the Wang heels, but I can’t wear any shoes without straps unfortunately, because my feet are too narrow for all so I constantly slip out every step I take! Who has the same problem?

I completely got into the ‘just throw a sweater on it’ look, if I may call it like that, and will probably wear these new favorite basics every day for the next coming months. At least, as long as Summer’s still not here. The hot season gave us a little touch yesterday and today, but that was kind of all we will probably get.

Instead I’ll just make space in my closet for warm, cozy knitwear… Combined the black sweater with one of my leopard dresses I haven’t worn in a while, and furthermore just black basics. I was already happy enough I could cycle to work, though I do have to watch very carefully I won’t get trapped in the tons of tramrails that are on my way to the ILFN office! There’s a lot of them near the Leidseplein.

New in my shoe-closet, these perfectly designed shoe boots with clear perspex wedge heels! After keeping it a bit low on expanding my collection for a while and only allowing myself to purchase shoes if they were more than I ever wanted, I treated myself on these beauties. A good architectural heel design is for me the most important feature of a shoe, so these are damn perfect, everything I want in one shoe. Well, apart for the fact they fit a whole size too small, but I’ll take that for granted. Modekungen.
