So, as I already let you know in my previous post I spent the weekend partially in Maastricht and Maasmechelen, and also wanted to share some pictures of the trip with you. These include model Anouck Lepere, the best pastries, shoes by Angelo van Mol, a very comfortable room at the Townhouse Hotel, the streets of Maastricht and yes indeed…mirror shots. Excuse me for those. Enjoy!

Melrose Trading Post, the weekly flea market at the corner of Fairfax and Melrose.

The Surly Goat, an awkward bar where we played awkward games with awkward people

The Beverly Laurel hotel, where we stayed for about a week (great beds, huuuge shower…)

Rodeo Drive….more boring than we thought actually! The area is only fun for two hours, as there’s also no possibility to buy anything of course.

The streets on the side of the busy roads in Hollywood are the best. You’re in the middle of a energetic city, and there’s just the most beautiful views when you look to your right or left! There’s the long streets filled with tall palm trees, and these, with beautiful lavender colored nature.

Fayette and Michael, Michael and Fayette

The only star I neccesarily needed to see, John’s. It feels kinda strange they all have one except for Paul though.

Fayette getting pierced….worst pain ever. Excuse me for my smile.

Fayette, Nawathip and me, on our last night together

And of course, our last supper at Robata Jinya in West Hollywood. Too much, but also too good to keep your hands, fingers and chopsticks off. Very much recommended if you like the Japanese cuisine, and like to order small portions of anything! Please give me more of that signature shrimp toast… Delicious!

So, this is the last post about Los Angeles, hope you like the pictures! Only one more post coming up, about our San Francisco trip!

Trailer parks in the Arizona desert

Arizona, the Last Stop

Whilst in Los Angeles, we also took a trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, cause it’s two places I’ve always wanted to go. Even though everyone told us Vegas was ugly, we’re glad to have seen it. But indeed; it is ugly! If you’re planning on a trip to Vegas anytime soon, don’t go there for more than 2 or 3 days, otherwise you’ll probably get bored. The hotels are ridiculously cheap now though because of the recession, so you can profit of that! It was great to have seen the several types of desert including the creepy trailer parks and motels in Arizona, on our way from Vegas to the Grand Canyon, a long trip though…

Sorry for not posting that regular but it was very hard finding time, a place, and even internet most of the times!

New shoes again…

We changed places for the Fairfax and Hollywood area, and are now staying at Beverly Boulevard, close to some of the best stores at Melrose Avenue and around the corner of the Fairfax flea market. So far so good!
