Thank you, thank you

Unfortunately the article is in Dutch, and it’s written too well to just make a fast translation. In general it’s about how attractive the word ’trendy’ is to Dutch women, and how most of us are anything but critical when it comes to picking out clothes in the stores. I couldn’t agree more. Picture of Aynouk herself in this typical trendy outfit everyone seems to go for. Maybe to the overseas ones who read this it might look somewhat nice, since you’re not too familiar with this ‘style’, but believe me, this is making us throw up by now.

Article by Aynouk Tan, for NRC Weekblad.

I can see what ur talking about. The German trendy-ness isn’t so far from this one! And it’s SO boring!

Great article! But I’m missing the uggs that should be worn with that outfit..

exactly the word i wanted to use – boring. i’m scared of wearing boring clothes. and it bores me to watch people wear them.

Bijna alle meisjes in mijn klas lopen er zo bij, haha. Ik heb geen stijl, maar ik weet wel dat ik er niet als de massa uit wil zien.

what i understood from the article so far is SO true! here in germany it’s basically the same. everyone is feeling so “trendy” and fashionable, wearing some of the items above. i am surrounded by ugg boots, outfits consisting of h&m items only, too tight t-shirts with “cool” prints, … you can name it.
    thanks for the article!

  6. Ik heb iets tegen het woordje ‘hip’.

Trendy is in dit geval saai en standaard. Bijna iedereen loopt er zo bij!
