I finally turned eighteen today. So let’s teach you something about this little number.

Eighteen is a composite number, its proper divisors being 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9. Three of these divisors (3, 6 and 9) add up to 18, hence 18 is a semiperfect number. Eighteen is the first inverted square-prime of the form p.q2. It is a heptagonal number, and as the sum of the first three pentagonal numbers, it is a pentagonal pyramidal number. It is also the sum of the totient function for the first seven integers. Eighteen is the second abundant number with the aliquot sum of 21 (117% in abundance) in the aliquot sequence (18,21,11,1,0) thus being the first composite number in the 11-aliquot tree. Eighteen is the aliquot sum of only one number the square 289. In base 10 it is a Harshad number. 18, aside from 0, is the only number that equals twice the sum of its decimal digits.

Interesting? No, not really, is it? Don’t know why I’m posting this, but now you can say you might have actually learned a little thing today through my page.

You know what would be a cool gift? If you’d all purchase a little piece of jewelry from my line :) That would be more satisfying than my birthday I suppose (I’m the kind of person that hates birthdays, especially my own…). You know what? I’ll even give you a little discount code. Enter BDAY10 to get 10% off! The code will be valid till May 2nd. God, we’ve bought too much cake by the way…

The lovely Sophie and Eva from Bows & Bandits Vintage sent me this beautiful high-waisted skirt. Another great surprise were the three little bottles of Mozart chocolat liquoir, one of my favorite drinks. In white, milk, and dark chocolat. Of course they were empty quite fast… Well, let’s say I love people who know what I love! Thank you so much, can’t wait to wear the skirt, as I’m completely feeling it’s rock ‘n roll vibe. And of course, let’s all check out their little vintage shop!

To my Dutch readers. We’re giving away 25 gift certificates of €50 each for ilovevintage.nl right HERE!

Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, Eagles Of Death Metal, Kasabian, Bloc Party, Boys Noize, Crookers, The Aggrolites, Hank III and Assjack, The Whitest Boy Alive, and many more. Even Fall Out Boy is coming. But what the heck was Lowlands thinking about that last one?

I don’t know why, but there’s something magical about ‘Twenty four hours from Tulsa‘.

I bought this amazingly perfect vintage lace dress at Sugar Darling Vintage some time ago, and was still looking for an occasion to unveal it. Faranak’s party was the time. The back is just great too, it’s a shame you can’t see it in the shots.

Both of the platforms are already coming loose after wearing these shoes for only two days…

A really busy day. Met up in Eindhoven at 01:00 PM, espresso, drove to Utrecht, we noticed a big paper that said “Flea Market”, stopped, found out the flea market should be represented by a post-it instead of such a big piece of cardboard, drove further to the centre and ate a panini caprese, drove to Amsterdam, to Faranak’s well-organized birthday party at the beautiful Goudsbloemstraat, got a perfect and breathtaking opera- and accordion surprise, another amazing vocal- and guitar performance in a local bar, by two guys which I suppose were Mexican, drove back to Eindhoven, for one and a half hour of Electrocute, and was home again at 04:00 AM. Awake for 22 hours.

All pictures below are taken at Faranak’s party.
