archive for March, 2009

Thought I’d wear this skirt again, only wore it once, right after I purchased it in Italy last summer. Edit: Remember, this is the last day to use the 10% discount code, RSBMARCH, on your handmade jewelry purchase! Edit #2: So it seems my cardigan has luckily been found, but now my iPod’s not working anymore, which is of course worse. I believe it is working on the inside (as it makes a little bit of noise when I click the buttons), but the display doesn’t lighten up, it doesn’t show anything. Has any one occured this problem before (on an iPod Touch perhaps)?

Floating on shoe-love.

Because I’m still in love and missing the amazing energy this city has.

Pictures are taken by me, in New York.

I found these grey ankle boots at work (the color looks better in real), in these boxes we can select some items of once in a while, as they’re not true vintage or the quality doesn’t fullfill our demands on vintage. These fitted me perfectly, and still look really good, so they became my free pick (note the tiny cut-outs on the front).

The heels aren’t really high, 9 cm / 3.5″, but maybe I’ll wear them sometime. I’m planning on studding them to make them look better!

Partying at Poptrash (Motor, Snob DJ’s, DJ Sick Boy Smithee), at MEZZ. Great DJ’s.

I don’t have a clue how this picture ended up like this scary Lord Of The Rings character, but I thought I’d share.

Unfortunately at one moment a group of guys was childishly jumping and pushing around, and some one hit a fist to my cheeckbone. It still hurts, as it was pretty bad, and I got a slight bruise under my eyes, but I don’t think it’ll get worse. Another stupid thing is the fact I lost one of my favorite and more expensive cardigans, the black one from Strellson. I actually don’t know if I lost it or it’s been stolen, but well, I just don’t have it anymore…

Check them out in my little shop, renéesturme/jewelry. Little reminder: Last day to use the 10% discount code (RSBMARCH)!

So I’m off to Camie now, she’s going to give me a quick tour through Breda, and we’ll be going to a party tonight. Should be lots of fun. My dad, on the other hand, drove to Italy this morning (for a week), to check out several houses and talk to some real estate agents, as he’s planning to move there. I guess going on holiday to Italy at least four times a year wouldn’t be that bad… Especially not when it’s 50km from the sea and 150km from Milan. We both fell in love with this amazing house in Ponti, so I really hope it’ll be as gorgeous and perfect in real.

New vintage shorts, ILV. Oh yes, and let’s say I again just really didn’t know how to pose.

You really don’t know how rediculously exited I’m about these shoes. I would have bought them if I wouldn’t have bought so many shoes lately. Topshop, £65. Also available in black. In today.

Up the stairs…

…and I’m back home.
