I wanted to promote this little video a bit, shot by Roland Pupupin for NSMBL. Can you believe it took two hours of walking through the center of Amsterdam to shoot this? Hella cold! Excuse me for not smiling… Wasn’t allowed to. Lol.

And… Hint #8 is up for the Nelly contest! Here it is: “Als je met je gezicht voor de ingang van dit gebouw staat, heb je een goede zaak in je rug.” Getting close to the last one! You may send your guesses to this page at CG.

Bacardi rum set up a new campaign to promote cutting of those headphones, stop the online chats, and truely enjoy each other socially by meeting up for a drink and actually be together in the same room. The great photographer Rankin made this little video around that concept, a person who’s had celebs such as Kate Moss and Heidi Klum in front of his lens, but also the Queen of England. Important for Rankin’s work is a passion for life and the feeling of living that life with full freedom. We can keep our contacts updated through social media, but human beings are made to really be together, he says. And I do agree! Find the video on Youtube here, or watch it above.

Gonzo is a new magazine and website, made by a bunch of creatives looking for fun things to do, then photograph, film and write about those things, and put it online. As easy as that. Together with K-Swiss they created the content, including a range of videos of Tempa T workouts and super slo-mo style ones. When it comes to where it’s all about, I’ll quote the team cause I probably can’t do it much better: “It’s about living life to the fullest and booting life up the ass. It’s about looking out at the rain coming down and seeing Californian sunshine.” Gonzo portrays the Mardi Gras, a world champion fighter, will tell you how to eat right and pick up girls, and how to take a punch on someone; for the tomboys around here.

As I’m going to L.A. myself this Summer and of course looking for great spots to visit, I was extremely pleased to stumble upon this video by Palladium, about interesting spots in Los Angeles, shown to you by Odette Annable. Starting this April, Odette is going to star in the new series ‘Breaking In’ together with Christian Slater. She grew up in L.A. and is currently living the Hollywood life with her husband, so she does know where to go when it comes to unique hotspots.

In the short film Odette shows the mysterious South Central L.A. and an artist community at the side of a highway, but also the roof of a legendary hotel in the center and an unfinished building by Frank Lloyd Wright in the hills around Malibu. During the tour she’s wearing Palladium’s new LITE boots; extremely light weighing less than 225 kilograms, so great for Summer. Palladium started their fame creating tires for aircrafts in 1920, but when the demand for those tires went down after WOII, they took their expertise to the test by making durable footwear.
