In cooperation with the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Jameson brings us a unique series of film events in which the viewer gets sucked in, becomes a part, gets inspired or just needs to laugh out loud. The next Jameson Film Experience will be at a special location in Amsterdam, on July 27, 2011. During the first Experience, 127 Hours was shown to the audience, and also this time it’s gonna be a film that you have to have seen. It will be a Dutch production with exquisite casting, which will not be shown in Dutch cinema’s. In short: very exclusive!

Afterwards there will be an afterparty and tickets for the event are completely free of charge! All you have to do is sign up here. Tickets will be supplied through a lottery and are on a first come first saved base. Above images for JFE are made by Stefan Glerum, a graphic artist from Amsterdam who I personally admire for his hand drawn signature work.

Last weekend. Fayette & Renée. Björn Borg show & afterparty, The Grind, BBQ and Woohoo. FUN.

For new year’s eve we got tickets to La Famiglia, a twenties-thirties-forties Italian maffia party at the beautiful Felix Meritis building in Amsterdam (about five floors high)…..expensive but worth it! Good music, everyone – really EVERYONE – overdressed and a very relaxed atmosphere… Coctails included. I was wearing a long mesh with burnt velvet dress (open on both sides), with a beaded bustier and high-waisted knickers underneath… Don’t have a proper picture of my outfit, sorry, there is at least one I guess, but that needs to be developed first so I’m not sure if I’ll ever get it….. Great night!

Excuse us for the dirty food on the last picture, Hurricane the cat, and Quinten’s jolly face to the left of Fayette and me.

I’m going to try to cross the Netherlands now and get to my father before it’s midnight….. It’s stormy weather in Amsterdam, and 24-hour non-stop heavily snowing at my dad’s…… Last trip took seven hours, let’s hope I won’t break that record! Having the annual Christmas dinner tomorrow with my beloved grandparents, and I believe my grandmother finally got the deal that I don’t eat meat, so she’s going to cook some nice fish. Her smoked salmon cocktail is to die for, thinking of it for already a week!

Right when I wanted to put my outfit together, the postman rang the doorbel and smashed my new favorite dress on the stairs, glad I got in on time for Christmas. Hope you like the outfit and it will put you in a festive mood as well :) These shoes are so comfortable! Too bad the dress is a size too big, though I made the best of it so you won’t notice too much, have to make it smaller when I have some time…
