After having been on the lookout for a great Harley Davidson tee for at least a year, I finally found this beauty at Wasteland in LA. It has some little holes, it has some little white paint marks and thin worn out fabric…. Just what I was searching for! Still paid quite a bit for it, but it was worth it. I have been searching through racks and racks of menswear tees for this one….have seen at least 2000 pieces! Tied a knot in it because it’s pretty large, and just teamed it up with some basic items, off to the Rietveld Art Academy graduation show :)

Questioning myself though; will my dear ’78 Honda bike be mad at me for wearing a Harley tee…?

I was wondering about the street these pictures are taken at, and thought that it would probably be very hard to pronounce the titel of this post if you don’t speak Dutch, isn’t it? Pictures taken at the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. And now try it ten times in a row!  Basic look, wearing my new high waisted jeans.

After wanting a varsity jacket for a while I started my search on eBay and found this little thing, fitting my minimum budget. I’ve seen lots of great ones, with leather sleeves and everything, but they’re easily priced €200.

It’s funny to see how a jacket like this completely turns the look into something totally different, if you compare it to the other look I created with this Motel dress, also using minimal items. I am going to try though if I can remove some of the badges, don’t like them much…

On another note, it’s my birthday today! Already celebrated it a bit last night at the PUMA x VICE event in the Westerpark, with some gold medals, pingpong ball soccer, vodka and a great mini-concert of Skip&Die. Celebrated it this morning by waking up with a proper hangover and an old bicycle I seem to have found on the streets last night. Now off for a decent piece of pie and a great queensnight party in the centre tonight! Queensday tomorrow, gonna be way to much fun for sure!

Yes, monday morning my dear computer was finally delivered to me by FedEX. Now all that rests is paying the big shipping bill. Immediately started uploading all the hundreds and hundreds of pictures which had been waiting around on the inside of my camera. Wearing a new leopard dress I recently bought at H&M (I know, I can’t resist any leopard dress…), an old jacket from my grandma I found at her attic and heeled 24-hour brogues from Italy.
