Even though these shoes are their complete opposite, I do love them both to death. I would just wish I could wear a classic pump like the Wang heels, but I can’t wear any shoes without straps unfortunately, because my feet are too narrow for all so I constantly slip out every step I take! Who has the same problem?

I was very much looking forward to wearing this orangy red skirt after finding it in sale last week, and instead of mixing it up with another bright color I chose this knitted sweater I also got at H&M this week, in the most perfect cream color. The fabric is so soft and the fit is very comfortable, so I immediately ordered it in grey and black as well.

The Lita’s I got in after work from ShopAkira, right before shooting these pictures, and I just HAD to put them on of course (originally wearing my Dolce Vita’s)! Definitely love them, but because of financial reasons I have to put them up for sale though… They’re still new in their original JC box with dustbags, are actually very comfortable (just like everyone says who owns them), the color is Pewter Glitter, and they’re a size US 8 (European size 39, true to size). So we’re staying at Yuka and Mia’s downtown loft for the first week, and almost moving further to the Fairfax and Hollywood area for our second week in Los Angeles. So far it’s been really good and we already met quite a couple of amazing people. The clothing stores are also way too good compared to Amsterdam! A little bit too great so I don’t really dare to go in anymore… Here’s a little overview of what we did, in pictures.

I was so happy to have finally found the Dolce Vita buckled ankle boots I have been searching for the entire last month! They really made my day even ten times as good. Prince was fun though it did take him two hours to start, and we’ve had such great lunches at the LA Café around the corner. Number A became my #1 shop in downtown LA and the Japanese food at Tenno Sushi is delicious and very affordable. A big thanks to Yuka for showing us around all the best shops in Little Tokyo and Hollywood, and taking us to some parties!

Oh, by the way, I cut and dyed my hair ;) Got very bored of it so needed a change! It’s still a little bit too yellow, though already a lot better compared to how it was right after I dyed it…

I’ve been to a couple of pressdays over the past week, here are some shots of my favorite items, and the lovely goodiebags of course. Tonight off to the Sam Friday show, brand launch and store opening, and after that the 10 year anniversary of Filippa K!

New in my shoe-closet, these perfectly designed shoe boots with clear perspex wedge heels! After keeping it a bit low on expanding my collection for a while and only allowing myself to purchase shoes if they were more than I ever wanted, I treated myself on these beauties. A good architectural heel design is for me the most important feature of a shoe, so these are damn perfect, everything I want in one shoe. Well, apart for the fact they fit a whole size too small, but I’ll take that for granted. Modekungen.
