Last month I did an interview with N.E.E.T, for the new March issue, #10. It’s finally online today! I needed to answer about 10 questions, though they only picked 5. And I answered with a lot more words, but they shortened it a bit, so some sentences are a bit otherwise than I actually wrote.

This issue features some European bloggers; Le Blog De Betty from France, Ambugaton from Finland, Emma’s Closet from Sweden, Szafa Sztywniary from Poland, and I from The Netherlands. I’m really honored to stand between those fab blogs! And thanks N.E.E.T. so much for featuring me!

I’m on page 46 and 47. And unlike in the article, I’m still 16 for two months, so not yet 17.

Last Saturday’s workshop including Bas Kosters is in the free daily newspaper Metro (Amsterdam) today. The photographer took about 20 pictures of me, but unfortunately I’m not in it. It’s only just one page too, so. I’m happy enough to be in N.E.E.T!

Oh gosh, you really don’t wanna know how much fashion magazines I still need to read are lying next to me. One ELLE (236 pages), Grazia Feb. 6 (99), Grazia Feb. 13 (83), Glamour February (211), Glamour March (301), Grazia Jan. 30 (99), Jackie (211) and today’s Avantgarde March (195).

So that’s 1435 pages to look through!

I ordered a mini-subscribtion of 4 issues Avantgarde (Dutch fashion mag, like ELLE and Vogue) a while ago. I mean, who wouldn’t for just €6,50? The price of one mag is €4,50.

I got a subscription to Grazia (Dutch fashion magazine). It was just €50 for 50 weekly issues. I always recieve the monthly magazines like ELLE and Glamour around the same date, check them out and then I have nothing left for the rest of the month, now I have something for every week.

For Americans I think this sounds still much, €50 ($75) for a year’s subscription, but for us it isn’t. I think it’s so unfair: You Americans can get a year subscription to Vogue for only $10! We pay over €100 (about $150) for a Vogue subscription, mostly cause it needs to be imported (but still overpriced). When we buy just one Vogue in a bookstore, it already costs like $10, and you guys get 12 issues for that price!

Though, I am getting this Friis&Company set (bag and clutch), worth €90, for free, but I would rather have a Vogue subscripbtion WITHOUT gift for €50.

There was a new fashion book in our school’s library, so I immediately rented it. I thought it was quite nice when looking fastly, but when looking at every page it wasn’t that special. It’s from Taschen, and only €6,99. It’s 14×19,5cm flexicover, with 192 pages. Below are my favorite pages, actually the only ones I liked. Fashion is written by Japanese authors. I got a new H&M Holiday catalog a while ago. It’s a very glamorous holiday special. There were quite a few items I really liked;

I’m in love with that skirt, the color changes from dark purple into lila. It’s only €19,90. I also adore the little sequined jacket, but it’s €49,90, for an H&M item that’s quite much don’t you think? I would rather buy a vintage one.

Bikini; €12,90 for each piece.

Nice scene, love the sequined skirt. This one’s €29,90, but they also have a similar one for only €9,90 I ordered.

Cute sequined skirt (€29,90), cute rhinestone flats (€19,90). I also love those scarfs (€12,90) and the glitter dress (€29,90).

LOVE THAT BRONZE DRESS (€29,90)! If I had the money, I would order it immediately. It’s a really special fabric, but the design isn’t quite special. You could easily make it yourself. The bolero and bronze purse are also cute (Both €9,90).

The bronze dress again, the €9,90 bolero’s and the tiny purses. You can’t see the purple dress quite well, but it’s also great! It has a large bow which I think is really fab.

Chique lace LBD, great combination with the €3,90 belt (bow).

I immediately fell in love with the diadem and ordered it for €7,90. Great matching necklace and a cute purse.

Part 1 of my shopping experience when in New York. I got the two little cardigan-tops in a shop in Queens, for just $10 (together). They were the only thing I could find there, furthermore you can’t really shop there, because all the clothes are made from synthetic fabric. I bought the CD in Cetral Park, where at some place all people were skating, dancing, making fun. A DJ played great music, so I bought one of his CD’s. I bought gold chains and a metal fish in a beautiful bead-shop on Broadway.

I got the H&M Magazine by mail, it’s not as interesting as I expected, but at least Daria Werbowy is on the cover. I bought some make-up products; Maybelline WonderFinish #nude (my standard foundation), Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Waterproof Mascara #black (I still haven’t found my ultimate mascara) and ‘The Original’ Tea Tree Lipbalm (I always want another balm to try). The lipbalm hasn’t got a delicous smell or something, but it does stay on. And it’s great to protect your lips from the cold. I got the Christina Aguilera parfum sample for free.

Don’t you think make-up products are really expensive? I mean, €12,49 for just a little bottle of colored liquid? I don’t think that’s quite reasonable, but well, I need to take care of myself, so I’ll buy it.

Edit: I already brought the mascara back, it’s really worthless!

Just another something: I’ve bought my 6th September fashion magazine last week, Grazia (Dutch). I think I’ve gone a bit mad and I don’t want to know the total price of all 6 magazines. I just couldn’t leave it there, it has some beautiful shoes in it.

Last Sunday I bought my 5th september fashionmagazine: Vogue Italia. It’s packed with an extra issue (Shopping Manual) with all the trends, many designers and only pictures, really fabulous. 300 shoes, even more dresses, etc. Some awesome pictures to show you what I mean (the whole magazine looks like that!):
