Though I actually wanted to go for the simplest black bikini ever this year, I figured out that’s just not my thing. Instead, I bought this bikini. The design’s really simple, but I think the print is just too gorgeous. Also bought two pairs of black footless tights. Speaking of regular leggings I quite dislike most of them, but I do like the ones that actually come till your feet (so just like the name explains, ‘footless tights’ in the actual meaning of the word).

Also bought this ruffly top, in different shades of beige (light to dark). Personally I thought the blue version of this one was horrible, but I really did like this light colored one.

And you already met this beige beauty.

Though, from now on I’ll really really really try to avoid H&M, because I just don’t want to buy things everyone buys or already owns. Last time I already succeeded to walk past the H&M store! Congrats to me :)
After wanting these so badly for more than half a year, but didn’t want to pay €46 just for tights (American Apparel), I finally found some Topshop ones on eBay. Including shipping for about €12. They are a bit too wide (I got a size UK12, because of my legs), but I can probably change that myself.

I wore them with a pair of socks, because they’re also a bit wide at my ankles (which is always like that with tights, why can’t they just make them a bit smaller there?).

Also customized this vintage bag, that looked quite boring at first, but I put some thrifted (and broken) clip earrings on top of it, plus a shoe bow.

Dress, bag: Customized vintage
Cardigan, socks: H&M
Tights: Topshop
Scarf: Vintage
Boots: Unisa
Necklace: ?

Edit: As they are actually too expensive for just tights, I already placed a bid on ones Selina suggested (thanks).
I’m already longing to get the lamé tights of American Apparel for about half a year, at least if it’s not more. Since a while they also sell them high-waisted, which I even seem to like more (better fit), for €44. Because that is still a LOT for just tights, I don’t want to buy the wrong size, and am asking you guys for help. I’m 1.73m, size S top, size M bottom. Though, I have small ankles, and don’t want them to be loose around my ankles. Don’t want them to be loose anywhere actually. I usually buy an L in tights, but these are made of a totally different fabric.
Because I’m dying for months and months to get these, and now finally decided to buy them, I don’t want to buy the wrong size!

I want them in Matte Black, not Black Eel. As someone commented they have a different fit, please be sure you’re talking about the MATTE ones.
And yes, of course it would be the best to check them out ‘in person’, but there’s only an American Apparel in Amsterdam and one in Rotterdam, and because a train ticket would be about €35, that would be a little too much.

I ordered some things at H&M when not having the money for it. Only, because I will have about 30 days to pay. In 30 days I will have money again, I think. I got a new H&M Magazine, with all kinds of glamourous holiday items. I already wanted the purple and pink tights for months and months, but they were sold out in the shops immediately, and they weren’t available online for a long time. They would come in July, then in August, then September, then October and now the online H&M shop says they will come late November. SO I HOPE THEY WILL ARRIVE NOW! Because you can’t buy anything under €19, I also got the diadem I was desperate to have when seeing it in the new catalog. My favorite item from the new collection was the bronze dress. It’s so just like a vintage or designer item! I loved it! I wanted it immediately when seeing it!
Actually, I don’t think I would buy all these 3 things, when I could also buy the tights only. Very smart for not accepting orders under €19, H&M!

Edit #1: I changed my order. Since November 15 there’s also another new Holiday 2007 Collection, with two great items: A sequined dress and a sequined skirt. Every week there will be added some new items to the collection, you can already see the previews. I don’t know, but the items could be sold out soon. I already saw a sequined skirt in the other Holiday Collection I wanted, which looks almost exactly the same as this one from the new Holiday 2007 collection, only €20 more expensive:

Skirt €29,90 - Skirt €9,90 - Dress €19,90

I think you’ve seen them before, but now Asos has them too. All-over sequined from S’nob, price: €85. I only wear trousers and jeans when they’re very special, these are! Too bad I don’t have a credit card… Maybe I can find sequined stretchy fabric somewhere? Does anyone got an idea where? Or maybe you know an online fabric store?

Every Wednesday there’s a market in the town I go to school. I had some time between classes so went again. I bought these beautiful fabrics: brown/orange flowers on light pink (about 2×2 meters), where I’m going to make a dress or maybe a skirt of, and old patterned (what is it, seventies?) fabric with gold details I wanted for a while (about 0,5×2 meters), where I’m going to make a purse of.

Then, I went to Hema, got some nice tights I needed plus: I BOUGHT SHOES BECAUSE I NEEDED THEM, NOT WANTED THEM! Like that ever happens. Patent black ballerina’s. I’m now walking on sandals at work, but ofcourse I can’t wear them at this time of the year. I bought an umbrella (they all die after rain&wind), but I’m not going to post it here, because it looks like a dildo on picture, lol.

I also bought a St. Nicholas-gift for my dad, but I’m not going to post it already. Not like he’ll ever check my site, but just in case he will.
My dad textmessaged me a little while ago if I wanted to go shopping. Ofcourse I wanted to. So we went to Roermond, both bought a book in a bookshop and after 10 minutes ’shopping’ he already needed to sit down on a terrace to get a drink and a snack. That’s what shopping means to him: Relaxing on terraces with a good beer. So after 1,5 hour, we went shopping - real shopping. For my dad we went to Different Corner, where we always go to when he needs new clothes. I told him what to try on, he did, he bought. As easy as it sounds. We/he got 3 things from Pepe Jeans: A blouse, cardigan and jeans. Plus a sweater from another brand. The total price for the 4 pieces was €320, so he got socks for free, lol. Because he doens’t buy clothes often, when we shop we also buy some more expensive clothes, with good quality. There’s no way I will let him ever shop without me.
Then we went further to get new boots, for me (the ones that were in my head for ever). We went to a shopping mall and I needed to use the restroom for a minute. When I got back he was already sitting down on a terrace, but I told him we would go for the boots first. So after we got the boots, we sat down and got a drink and a snack.

After finishing our snacks, we went to H&M. My dad told me to move quickly, because he hates standing and waiting there. So I did, got about 8 things to fit, and let him buy me the 6 things I wanted. So great, lol. Then we went back to the car, and he asked me if I wanted to get a drink again, but I think it was a joke.
The dark dress is very dark grey with a shade of green/blue, so not as black as it looks. I’m really in love with the grey cardigan, it’s probably my favorite item now. It’s really long, you could maybe even wear it as a dress. The yellow top is too short to wear it as a dress, too bad. The flowered/striped dress is actually a size L, but I just needed to have it. The book contains sewing techniques.

I made a bid on these purple tights on eBay and ‘won’. The tights are 70 denier, so not that thin as they seem to be on picture. Hopefully they will fit me, they’re a size S/M, but with my legs I usually buy a size L. Price: 2,49+2,50 (shipping) = €4,99. I actually wanted to buy the H&M ones, but they’re sold out everywhere.
I bought these off-white cable-knitted overknees I already wanted for a long time, at the weekly market in Panningen for €4.
Last Sunday I went shopping with my boyfriend. At H&M I saw a dress I already wanted for a while. It usually costs €19,90, but there was hanging another paper on it which said €9,90. I studied the dress to find mistakes, but couldn’t find anything. The best part is it was in my size. Then I bought grey knitted tights I wanted and 2 beautiful hotpants (underwear, black one not in picture). After I paid I saw the sale department and found a long knitted black sweater, that I can use as a dress when it’s cold (dot on picture is from camera). I also ran back to the accessories to get my 72nd belt, an elastic fuchsia/gold one. I’m dying to get the purple+pink and yellow+orange tights H&M sells, but they were already sold out. I usually don’t buy anything at C&A, but I went looking for more tights and found some off-white cable ones.
Spendings
Color dress: €9,90, instead of €19,90- H&M
Grey tights: €9,90 - H&M
Pink hotpants: €3,95 sale - H&M
Black sequined hotpants: €3,95 sale - H&M
Black knitted sweater/dress: €6 sale - H&M
Fuchsia belt: €7,90 - H&M
Off-white tights: €8 - C&A

This autumn, jeans aren’t anymore in the picture. Maybe some cute ultraskinny skinnies, but everything except the blue - standard - ones. You will see - no, you already see - a lot of short dresses, a lot of high heels, and especially: A LOT OF COLORED TIGHTS. Tights are the basics, which are going to combined with everything (read: every dress). Grey/off-white/black tights with colorful dresses and colorful tights with grey/off-white/black dresses. I already did an article about how I’m hating (blue) jeans, this is some sort of sequel. And ofcourse the article about legwear. I just need to clarify it again. Some beautiful examples to show you what I mean:
This season there are three options, at least to me:
1. Off-white/grey knee-highs/overknees
2. Bright color tights (Purple, pink, red, blue, yellow, orange)
3. Grey/black maillot (Picture: Agathe from StyleBytes)
I don’t like leggings that much anymore. They are worn by everyone, combined wrong by many people, often combined cheap, and already in fashion for a while. To me, the legging period is now finally over. Also to the designers by the way. Only the black latex ones are still nice.
