Busy working on a new template for the blog, seeing if there’s someone going to Lockdown tonight, and feeling very annoyed by myself. Update: After days and nights of heavily CSS&FTP-ing, I believe I finally finished the template. Since it’s 04:30AM right now (yes I did really want to finish this night), I think I should tuck myself into bed. Can’t wait to activate it. Update: Crap! I messed it up again.

Yes, 14 hours later, I’m finished – again! I really was in need of a fresh and clean base to start again (without the different url’s, missing posts, etc), so I hope you like it! I can show large images now, but the smaller ones won’t look bad either in this template. Change is important. More coming up.

A good breakfast, shopping at Hospital, looking for antiques at the Kloosterstraat, fries at Nr.1, a one-and-a-half hour massage at Flamant, a 30 cm Veggie Patty, and two hours of thinking back of our weekend in the train. A great day.

Hospital.

Streets.

I’m quite obsessed with Love My Way by The Psychedelic Furs. Find it here. Dylan wanted to peep in the picture, though he looks more like a bunny than a cat.

Vintage altered dress / Stella McCartney bag / F21 cardigan / vintage shades / H&M boots.

V&R

My new jacket for Summer. Such a Viktor&Rolf signature design. From Labels Inc, Antwerp.

Fredrica of the new Swedish online magazine Modeflickan asked me for this picture to be feautured on her Lookbook.nu-story, here’s the result. Thanks! You can sign up for free and see the entire mag (or click the image to see it full-size).

Wasn’t really as expected, Juha already left, so we created our own little party within the actual one.

American Apparel jeans / Zara top / H&M boots / vintage jewelry.

Found two more pictures.

Unfortunately the article is in Dutch, and it’s written too well to just make a fast translation. In general it’s about how attractive the word ‘trendy’ is to Dutch women, and how most of us are anything but critical when it comes to picking out clothes in the stores. I couldn’t agree more. Picture of Aynouk herself in this typical trendy outfit everyone seems to go for. Maybe to the overseas ones who read this it might look somewhat nice, since you’re not too familiar with this ’style’, but believe me, this is making us throw up by now.

Article by Aynouk Tan, for NRC Weekblad.
