First, two hours of PJ’s-and-music-in-the-sun-time.

Then went to Fakkelbrigade and two other fella’s early in the day. Not completely our thing, but yeah, we danced. It was time for The Aggrolites. We stood really close, couldn’t really get closer than jumping over the fences, though there never was the intention to. They were as great as they sound on mp3, though not that interesting to look at. All of them are pretty old and unattractive, unfortunately that’s just something that you don’t ask for to get stuck in your head, but you can’t do anything about noticing this. Still, it was nice to have seen them so close and live.

After The Virgins.

Camie and I went to see and dance on the Kaiser Chiefs for a little while. I can honestly say they are entertaining to hear live, even though you have heard songs like Ruby way too much on the radio. After that it was Jack-Peñate-time! He is so adorable, a good performer, and I finally found ‘my’ Lenny Kravitz look-a-like in one of his guitar players. Yes guys, I honestly really like the Lenny-type. Camie managed to get Jack’s playlist for the night afterwards.

Find them here.

Little Red Rooster – Rolling Stones

A vintage shop on the way to the Mauerpark. Definitely nice, and kinda huge (maybe too huge), but also way too expensive.

Only €5. Well, okay, probably that cheap because it’s meant as underwear, but I like it as a ‘normal’ top.

LINK. Great belt.

Didn’t take that many pictures, about two hundred (yes, that’s about nothing compared to usual), as I wasn’t allowed to bring my SLR. So here are some shots taken with my old/other camera. More to come, not the best quality, though we did manage to get very far in the front at about every performance. Of course I won’t be posting all pictures and all concerts, you can find a picture by clicking on the artists displayed below. Starting with Friday and a 70-liters-backpack.

The first performance we went to was White Lies, they did really well but just aren’t really my thing, second was Paolo Nutini, who was just incredibly amazing, one of the best performances I had ever seen, plus he got one really attractive wild-haired guitar player…

Then went to Passion Pit for a little while, which was much fun as well. God that guy has one incredible voice. Razorlight did a cool job. At half past six it was time for Lily Allen. She started off pretty bad, but after a tiny while she got great, her band was awesome too, nothing compared to the oh-so sweet versions you hear on the radio. Didn’t expect her to be that good, as you usually hear quite some negative thoughts about her. Her glittery top was the best.

We had a little while to go back to our tent and get some fastfood, and continued our day ‘listening’ to Kasabian. Definitely another great performance, even though the lead singer unfortunately looked like a true N*Sync member and you couldn’t stand in the crowd without getting trapped on your toes by two-meters-tall-fella’s and getting several elbows against your head. Went to The Prodigy for about ten minutes, and then to Joost van Bellen, who of course played some energizing songs. Still, I got just really tired at about half past eleven (after a day of work, a night of no sleep, and a travel that started at half past six in the morning that probably isn’t something awkward) and I got back to the tent to get some sleep.

Camie was the cutest girl of the evening.
