Yesterday, the thing I wanted for such a long time and were finally able to afford arrived by mail: My new Canon Eos 450D 12.2MP SLR camera with 18-55 mm IS lens.

I’m so happy finally being able to take some decent shots. Only one tiny problem. I ordered a 4GB SD card, but it hasn’t arrived yet, so I’m currently using my 32MB card of a couple of years ago. Which means that I need to put my pictures on the computer after taking only 7, again and again and again. And do you know I even paid triple as much for the 32MB card? So weird how things can change that much in only a few years time.

Edit: Exactly five minutes after writing this the card arrived.

    Ahhh, í’m drooling-my perfect camera! Oh, lucky you. But I thought your previous camera was really good too, especially for close up shots of flowers etc.
    I’m in Holland right now, at my dad’s, can you recommend any vintage shops?

    haha ik kijk op je blog, en daar zie ik mijn camera staan! Ik heb deze dus ook, nu sinds een paar maanden :) echt heeel fijne camera, het is mijn eerste spiegelreflex en absoluut aan te raden! :D
