How horrible is it to work with satin? Gosh, don’t think I’ll do that ever again. Anyway, here’s another dress I designed and made. Though I must say it’s already quite old! As in several months.

    heel erg mooi, en je bent nog maar 17.. je hebt echt talent!
    Vond je het maar niets om met satijn te werken? wacht maar tot je met chiffon werkt, pff!:)
    Mag ik vragen hoe je die empirelijn hebt gedaan? Is die ingerimpeld of bestaat de jurk uit twee delen?

    @Joni: Dankje! Heb ik volgensmij ook een keer gedaan. Voor wel 10 minuten lang, dat was me wel genoeg geweest voor mijn hele leven, haha. Allebei niet, om heel eerlijk te zijn maakt de riem de jurk, hij is superwijd en door de riem krijg je dit effect.

    Ja, met satijn werken is heel vervelend haha. Ik had voor school m’n tweede rokje in heel m’n leven van satijn gemaakt. Ik dacht echt dat ik gek werd. Maar hij is er toch goed uitgekomen. Alleen ietsje korter dan gepland. Maar de jurk is er super uitgekomen!

    @b.: I’d want to, but I can’t really make it quality-full, because of the horrible fabric. I don’t know if it’ll look nice using other fabrics. And I wouldn’t dare to ship you this one, haha, it looks quite horrible in real. This one was just for the ‘design’ itself, I didn’t pay any attention to the finishing.
