First about my dress. I bought this vintage prom beauty from Selina a while ago, actually a quite long while ago, but I wanted to wait till the right time for showing off this cutie. I love the tight black body combined with the oh-so big ruffle skirt. The skirt has some kind of polkadots on it, only these are squares, not dots. I felt great in it! And even my dad thought the same way and couldn’t stop saying how good it looked on me! Yes, my dad!

Today was the day of my fashion show in Sittard. This morning I forgot the time had changed, it was an hour later than expected, so I got up at 10:00, instead of 09:00. Problems. I didn’t have the time to do my hair, and just clamped it together, and some other things I still wanted to do couldn’t be done.
I was happy to have those kind (and tall) models (though one didn’t show up, but it worked out well finally), but I really need to prepare myself better the next time. The models did really well, very nice girls, but because it was my first show ever, some things went wrong, but that was my fault. A big thanks to my models, again! Though, it was a good experience, and like I said I can only get better, I learned a lot of today.

My dad couldn’t really shoot some good pictures, so I’ll have to wait till the photographers put those on a website. There were some really good fashion shows, but hey, those were from Fashion Design students. I didn’t really think it was fair that the limit was set at ‘18 years old’ instead of ‘high school’, as that would definately be more fair, because I as a 16 year old was now competing against some real Fashion students.

Isn’t this picture a bit Princess of (Punk?)Rock or something? Haha. Promdress and a biker jacket, I think they look great together. By the way, I went ‘all’ black because my models’ outfits were all very colorful.
