Oh my god, I found this video at Linda’s Modeblogg. This would be a great idea for Carnaval (Dutch type of Halloween. Not Carn-i-val like in Brazil, but Carn-a-val), cause I have a dachshund too. It’s so hilarious. Shall I make such an outfit for my dog?

I made myself this high waisted skirt I already wanted for a while. The best part is the fabric is vintage, so no one will make the same. It has some beautiful baroque embroidery on top. The skirt looks like satin in the second picture, but it is really thick curtain fabric. You can see a crease in the pictures (at the bottom of the skirt), I still need to iron it. I actually tried to make the skirt a bit different, but gladly it did turn out more pretty than I expected it to be. I finished it so quickly, it was just too easy to make.

Skirt: My design, selfmade
Turtleneck: H&M
Vest: Some store in Queens, NYC
Bag, jewelry, belt: Vintage
Boots: Unisa
Tights: Hema

I already noticed this dress months ago in the Chloé collection, and still adore it so much. For a designer dress, the price tag isn’t that high as expected: €524. Still too much, of course. It’s a black silk blend dress with all over sequins.
