I made myself this high waisted skirt I already wanted for a while. The best part is the fabric is vintage, so no one will make the same. It has some beautiful baroque embroidery on top. The skirt looks like satin in the second picture, but it is really thick curtain fabric. You can see a crease in the pictures (at the bottom of the skirt), I still need to iron it. I actually tried to make the skirt a bit different, but gladly it did turn out more pretty than I expected it to be. I finished it so quickly, it was just too easy to make.

Skirt: My design, selfmade
Turtleneck: H&M
Vest: Some store in Queens, NYC
Bag, jewelry, belt: Vintage
Boots: Unisa
Tights: Hema

I love the runching at the top of the skirt. Did you make this from a pattern or did you just make it your own? I want to make one!

27/12/2007, 19:58@Zumbai: Thanks! It’s old fabric.
@Elle: I made it my own, never worked with a pattern and no idea how to. I really didn’t have any idea how to make a skirt, haha.
@Susie: Thanks!
@Julia: Thanks! It’s really easy to make you know, I was done in an hour. Just start making clothes, that’s the best way to learn. I learned it from myself too, and am still learning how to get better ;)
