Today, I had a job interview at Filippa K and at JOOP!-Windsor-Strellson, in Designer Outlet Roermond. I thought it was only for JOOP!, but it’s just a huge store with all the three labels together. By the way, I was hired the minute I walked in, so funny! Then, I had the interview for Filippa K, I think it went well, but not as great as the other one. I will get to hear this week if they’re hire me. If they do, I definitely choose for Filippa K, but otherwise I still have the job at JOOP!. The woman from Filippa K said I made a nice impression, she was quite cool too. Who will know? Maybe I really get hired there, that would be sooo great. They only search about 6 employees, and some of them fulltime, so my chance isn’t very big. It’s possible I need to do a try-out-day at Fillipa K in Amsterdam, at the PC Hooftstraat.

A new likey streetstyle pic from Spanish fashionista ToutLaMode.

I went shopping with some friends last wednesday in Venlo. I needed 2 pairs of new sunglasses, because I killed and lost 2 ones. So, I finally got my WayFarer look-a-likes! I already wanted them for months, but couldn’t find them anywhere. I thought H&M had them, but when I looked yesterday I couldn’t find them, at least not at Divided. So I bought them in a little shop for €10. Still a little bit expensive, because I’m actually broke, but I just needed to have them after my search that lasted months. They also have those 2 shiny silver things on sides, but my pictures aren’t the greatest. I still had a gift card from H&M, and bought two necklaces and big purple-grey-brownish glasses. One of the necklaces is with a tape, that I was searching for months also. I bought the cute black peeptoe sandals for just €5 in sale. I also bought a white knitted shirt/dress which costed only €6 in sale, usually €40. Pictures aren’t really great, the shoes and glasses are nicer in real!

WayFarer look-a-likes: €10, Icon Eyewear @ Nikki&Jeff’s
Tape necklace: €3.90, H&M
Other necklace: €4.90, H&M
Big glasses: €5.90, H&M
White dress/shirt: €6.25, Vero Moda sale
Sandals: €5, Flash sale

I found the pictures below at http://www.stylelist.com/blog/category/san-francisco-street-style/. I am so loving this vintage belt and want to share this pic with you. It’s just wonderful.

Am I the only one who notices this? Is a sigarette becoming a fashion accessory? I don’t smoke and I’m not going to, that’s for sure. But, I see a lot of (FotoLog) fashionista’s using a sigaret to add an extra touch to their pictures. It’s not like they only hold it, they also smoke it, but it just looks to me they also use it as an accessory on pictures. For the second time: Am I the only one who notices this or do you too? It’s at least a big hype on FotoLog.

I am right H&M has a WayFarer fakie, right? Also/already in Holland? Does anyone know?

The day before I left for Tunis, I ‘won’ some great jewelry pieces at eBay. I was looking for gold chain necklaces, found some, looked further in the shop http://stores.ebay.nl/mommylovesmichaela, and also found great earrings. So now, I bought 9 items in her shop. I even wanted to buy more, but I’m a bit short on money now, because of two vacations in a month time. You really need to check out her shop, what she’s selling is absolutely fabulous for the greatest prices!

I bought two beautiful necklaces for about $3 each and 7 pairs of earrings for about $2 each. Some are new, but I also bought some vintage ones. Shipping for the first item to Holland is only $3, each additional item is $0.75. When you buy 5 or more items, each additional is $0.50. It’s quite cheap, because the package comes from the United States. The funny thing is that during the time I’m writing this article, my dad came with the package of jewelry. So I can open it now, exited! By the way, the shop owner is really nice! Now, I opened the package and everything was wrapped very carefully so nothing could happen with the items. The jewelry is so beautiful and some things are even prettier than I thought. I paid $20,75 for the jewelry and $6,99 for shipping.

We really had a wonderful vacation! Everything was better and more beautiful than on pictures. We arrived at midnight in our hotel and – ofcourse – immediately fell asleep. We only went two times to the beach, because the water was so salt, you got all sticky and dirty. We went more often to the outside swimming pool, which was really nice. Our hotel:

Luckily, we had great airconditioning, which was really nice after tanning, to relax. Our room was very nice and cleaned every day, we had a quite huge bed. One day we took a boat trip with a catamaran for two hours. The first hour was absolutely fabulous, we’ve even seen a dolphin! But then, I got all seasick and couln’t wait to be back on land. Port El Kantaoui:

The Tunesian people sometimes literally pull or push you into their stores. You can choose from three sorts of clothes:

  1. Traditional ethnic clothing.
  2. A huge amount FAKE stuff: D&G, Chanel, Dior, Burberry etc.
  3. Ugly synthetic street market shit

And really, I even liked the traditional stuff the most. You can buy a Rolex for about €6 or Chanel sunglasses for €3, but I just can’t stand it, so bought nothing fake. Me:

Wednesday, we went shopping in Sousse, a big city just near Port El Kantaoui (where we stayed). I bought this big and beautiful real camel leather bag for just €20! Real leather! You would pay hundreds of euro’s here in Holland. The ’shop assistent’ first asked 85 dinar, which is €49, but I got it for 35 dinar, which is just €20. I also bought a waterpipe with tabac and charcoal for my father, as a souvenir. Though, we both don’t smoke, but I just thought it was a cute gift. In Holland I bought La Vie En Rose, a Dutch fashionmagazine, and got the ballerina’s for free. They aren’t quite alive anymore, but I had fun with them. My souvenirs:

Before my holidays I lost my most beautiful sunglasses and in Tunis I killed my second most beautiful sunglasses! So so so bad. Now I need to buy new ones again, but hey, I’ve still got a €20 gift card from H&M, and I’ve seen they’ve got Way Farer fakies! Hotel lobby:

Friday we needed to get out our room at 12:00, but our plane left at 00:20, so we needed to wait a long time. Saturday morning, I was back in Heel again, at my boyfriends place, and we could finally sleep after 24:00 hours! I will be a week at home, and will leave next Monday for Terschelling with some friends. There’s no internet there, I think it’s a real shitty and crappy camping, but we’ll just make it fun, I hope. Even no swimming pool, lol. I’m just hoping the weather will be allright, because you never know in froggyland!

I can’t wait to show you the pictures I made, they’re lovely. Everything is better and more beautiful than on pictures, I will write the whole story when I get back! By the way, I bought a gorgeous leather bag…
